PROVENANCE & HISTORY
A beautifully crafted example of vernacular Ontario Gothic Revival furniture, likely produced by a rural cabinetmaker during the Victorian period. Designed for practical household storage, this kitchen sideboard has Gothic-inspired arches with architectural influence from that period.
CONSTRUCTION & AGE
Traditional hand craftsmanship is evident throughout, including hand-cut dovetailed drawers, square nails, slotted screws and solid pine and maple construction.

RESTORATION
Thoughtfully restored for modern use while retaining the character and evidence of age accumulated over its long life. The exterior has been done in a soft Scandinavian-inspired blue, with natural figured curly/tiger maple backsplash. Original wear and character have intentionally been preserved.
The drawers and interior have been cleaned and waxed, and the cabinet is fully functional and ready for everyday use.
HARDWARE
Fitted with sympathetic vintage porcelain pulls with brass fittings.
